On 24th, 25th, and 26th May in Bordeaux (FR) at the beautifully "Salle des Fêtes du Grand Parc", the Discotake event (www.discotake.fr) has been held; a 3-day event dedicated to contemporary art in its facets, including a live event dedicated to David Bowie.
Invited by Renaud Cojo, the Artistic Director of Discotake, we Aladdin Insane have been pleased to be part of this great event on Saturday 25th, playing exclusively LIVE, without recorded music, the full album Blackstar from 22:00, and leaving for the second part of the show the most unexpected songs taken from the boundless repertoire of David Bowie. A special thanks to Alain Lahana, producer of David Bowie, who honored us with his presence and his appreciation. It was a really special night, for veterans but also for new lovers of "the alien".

Il 24, 25, e 26 maggio a Bordeaux (FR) presso la splendida "Salle des Fêtes du Grand Parc" interamente rinnovata, si è tenuta la manifestazione Discotake (www.discotake.fr), una 3 giorni dedicata all'arte contemporanea nelle sue sfaccettature, tra cui uno spettacolo live dedicato a David Bowie.
Invitati da Renaud Cojo, Direttore artistico della manifestazione, noi Aladdin Insane siamo stati lieti di essere parte di questo grande evento nella giornata di Sabato 25, suonando esclusivamente live, senza basi registrate o loops, a partire dalle ore 22:00 l'intero album Blackstar, e lasciando per la seconda parte della serata le più inattese canzoni tratte dallo sconfinato repertorio di David Bowie. Un grazie particolare a Alain Lahana, produttore di David Bowie, che ci ha onorato con la sua presenza e le sue belle parole. È stata una serata veramente speciale, per i veterani ma anche per i nuovi amanti dell'alieno.
